These fences are mainly used to stop human trespassing into the property and fall under two categories – passive barriers which are fit and forget solutions such as the Concertina Coil, Razor Wires and Anti-climb fences as they serve as a strong psychological deterrent to intruders and active barriers such as the Electric Fence and Invisible Fence which give an alert either through an alarm or by alerts on a mobile phone.
