Overcoming Challenges in Fencing: A Case Study of the B&B Triplewall Containers Project
Our respective client, B&B Triplewall Containers, is one of the leading manufacturers of corrugated boxes. They had a substantial requirement to fence their plant. After considering several options, they learned about us, JustFence, through our website. One noteworthy fact is that one of our select clients was specifically interested in 275 GSM material for their project. Regardless of the price, this particular client was focused on quality.
When it comes to the site location, it was situated in extremely rough terrain, with uneven ground levels and both upstream and downstream obstacles. The client was particularly concerned about this when it came to fencing the boundary. They insisted that the fence should follow the contour of the stream, whether it was uphill or downhill. This posed one of the significant challenges we faced
Usually, the MS angle is dug and buried 2ft below the ground, followed by concreting. However, in this case, it was installed 3ft below the ground, which presented quite a challenge. Due to the undulated terrain, the height varied after every 10 meters of installation. Additionally, in the corner areas of the fenced area, another issue arose when the poles started bending under the load. All of these factors resulted in a significant amount of rework. In fact, this project required around three to four reworks. The reason behind this was the client’s insistence on quality.
Local material shifting took a toll on the on-site laborers and executives due to the scale of the project. The quantity of material required was unimaginable, and the team assigned to the project was not sufficient to handle this workload. Despite these challenges, everything proceeded smoothly thanks to the hard work and determination of the team. They overcame all the obstacles, and the client received what they expected from us. Our operations team contributed with creative and innovative ideas, effectively planning the labor and the course of action, allowing the work to proceed seamlessly.
